The goal of this CME activity is to update physician knowledge of current clinically-relevant research involving the diagnosis and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders with an emphasis on inflammatory bowel disease. Additionally irritable bowel syndrome, screening for colorectal cancer, and chronic hepatitis will be addressed in detail. Interactive panel discussions are included in this program to demonstrate the proper application of knowledge to daily clinical practice. Dr. Stephen Hanauer, course chair, will be leading an experienced expert faculty from the University of Chicago Medical Center, Department of Gastroenterology.
